i learned about punnett squares a few days ago and basicly a punnett sq. is a sq that tells you if someone is likley or unlicky to get something for ex. brown eyes or brown hair or be tall or short basicly what genes there going to get. http://www.world-builders.org/lessons/less/les4/casino/casinogifs/pun2.gif ok this picture tells you what color the swan or what ever type this bird is and it tells you what color its going to come up as. now the dominant allele is alway upper case so red A is the dominat allele and lowercase letters (a) are called resessive alleles but that doesnt mean that you are going to be red automatically it just means you might have more of a chance of being red then blue. so the results whould be

Genotype:
50% red birds
50% blue birds

Phenotype:
2 red birds
2 blue birds

75% chance of getting brown hair
25% chance of getting blonde hair
(Notice how when you add the percents of the top with the swans its = to 100 and how 75% and 25% = 100 to)

Phenotype
3 brown
1 blonde

1. not all punnett squares are ture they could be false buts its rare to be false
2. this is a great way to find out what your kids might have
3. each parent does not have two alleles that are the same

I thought that the punnett square was amazing i didnt know there was a way to find out what your child might have so i was intrested in learning about the punnett square. Like the info above supports my opinion

i love captain jack sparrow i have 23 tihngs on my wall that have to do with him and 19 things on my shelf that also have to do with him and my profle is about him and i've liked him for 5 years now i have a feild guide of everythng i need to know about the first movie and the second one and im seeing the third POTC movie on the very day it comes out right after school i know what happens, the characters, its name, its date (days, hours, minutes and seconds) and alot more i have both sound tracks have a pillow case of him i have a certifacte of when we got married i got more things then any POTC fan in the world and IM HIS #1 FAN NOT ANYONE ESLE HES MINE LADIES SAVVY i also know what captain jack sparrow says when he talks to the cannibals and i can say it right now if you asked me 2 i even got the stickers of the eyes painted on his face so anyway im done and remember im his #1 fan
